All services are only $45 per hour and never any mark ups. Since it's an hourly rate you
can set the pace for how I can help-working within your budget.
Hourly Consultations:
I’ll meet with you, find out the who-the why-the how-the how much and give you my expert
advice and opinions. I can also provide advice for other areas of your home, both inside
and out.
Decorating Boards and Renditions:
After we meet, and you have sent me your “Style File”-see below, I can work up a
decorating board giving you a visual face to face representation of my recommendations. I
will also come back with a rendition, a simple schematic of your space showing you my
recommendations for placing.
Shopping With You or Without You:
I don’t charge you if I am out and see something that would be perfect for you, but your
space will always be on my mind. You too may see something that you might want to run
by me. I am available to shop with you in increments of 2 hours or more. You or I can
arrange an “agenda” and go out together and go to this store, that store, that store and
finish up at that store. I don’t charge for my travel time within 20 miles of Harrisburg. We
can shop for paint, flooring, window treatments, art, furnishings, and accessories.
If you are really busy, and you are comfortable, I can actually go shopping for you. I
recommend the above, “Shopping with you”, but if you are in a hurry, this is an option. We
would just have to work out how to pay for the materials.
Home Organization:
Sometimes a project may be 40% decorating, 60% organization. There is nothing worse
than having a great design ruined by clutter! On my hourly rate, I can come in and coach
you through the organization process, telling you what to pitch, sell and keep sometimes
acting as a referee. I can help you with finding storage space within your home, and help
you set up this storage area to help reduce clutter in your living spaces.
Furniture Pick up, Assembly:
If you are busy or think we can save some shipping charges, I can go and pick up
merchandise for you.
Placement and Staging:
Once we have made your purchases, I am available to help stage your room: make sure
everything is “just so.” I really recommend this service as I think it’s one of the best talents
I bring to my clients. It’s usually only an hour or two per room.
Your Style File- NO charge
Whether you choose to work with me or on your own, I strongly recommend creating your
own “Style File”. Pick up about 6 decorating magazines and go through them cutting out
pictures of what you like- paint colors, art, accessories, furnishings, flooring and window
treatments. If we will be working together, I will ask that you send that to me before I start
on anything. It will give us both a better feel for what you like or don’t like.
